<p>The Twin Cities Web Design user group presents <strong>Dojo </strong>guru <strong>Chris Barber</strong> who will be demonstrating the power of using the Dojo JavaScript Toolkit to build rich Internet applications.  He&#8217;ll show the basic tools for manipulating the DOM, event handling, and dealing with cross-browser quirks, then dive into more complex topics such as widgets and the build system.</p>
<p>Chris Barber operates <a href="http://www.cb1inc.com" target="_blank">CB1, INC.</a> and has been providing professional software and infrastructure engineering solutions since 2004. CB1, INC. specializes in several development technologies for building web, desktop, and server applications, including Dojo among many others.  Chris is an active committer and member of the Dojo community for over 3 years.</p>

<p>jQuery expert <a href="http://marcgrabanski.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Marc Grabanski</strong></a> will introduce this JavaScript library designed to hide painful cross-browser compatibility issues while presenting a solid, usable API. Marc is a professional web developer out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He currently runs a consulting company and is partnered with local businesses to create startup companies. Marc&#8217;s technical skills are focused towards user interface development (JavaScript / CSS / HTML), but also spans across a wide range of technologies and skill-sets. He is the original author of jQuery UI Datepicker and has worked extensively with jQuery since its release.
